Jodie’s Variety night at The Art House

This was a fabulous and unique variety-night at The Art House organised by Jodie Luke Copeland.  Jodie’s Variety Club is a a glamorous merging of circus, music, variety and comedy where audience and artists join together for a night of cracking entertainment that is very rarely seen in Southampton.

This is the first night of many, we hope, and the line up was, quite literally, world class.

The Dog House Boat Boys – great supporters of the music scene, they turn up just about anywhere and bring the house down.

Simon Clark, The Mentalist

Sam Lee – Marvelous compere

Comedian – Bret Summers (his first ever stand-up spot!)

Guy Heathcote – wonderful juggler, costume maker and much more, and he has a splendid moustach (he won third place at the 2007 World Beard And Moustache Championships.)

Sean and Dean – passionately delivered songs, with no holes barred.  I think we will be seeing more of them.
