One of our lovely volunteers has donated the money for a new kitchen floor – yay!

But it does mean we have to move the entire contents out first (and still be able to make nommy food this week)..

Fortunately the fridge has wheels.

Our ever-willing web designer, Martin from Still-Moving helping Ziggy, our chef, carry out the pots and pans.

The floor is really slippery, so we’re chopping out the tiles, repairing the floor, and fitting vinyl hopefully by the end of Wednesday.

Tuesday morning, tiles are out, wooden base down, waterproof seal all around the wall.. looking good.  Thanks Monarch Floor Coverings for a great job, quickly done, very cheap!

Finally, a lovely, non-slip floor, waterproofed all round.  A huge thanks to one of our amasing volunteers for donating the money for this.
