Our monthly visit from Edgeworld Records of Brighton selling vinyl and CDs.  Lots of music you won’t find anywhere else, some of it quite bonkers.

For makers, circuit benders, hackers and tinkerers. Suggested £2.

Come and chat to likeminded people who love reading.  October’s book is “The Reluctant Fundamentalist” Mohsin Hamid. Suggested £2.

Join local artist Jani Franck in creating an installation of messages to the future, about how we picture a sustainable world. FREE EVENT.

Music in the City Special!
Our regular ‘Three Monkeys’ event graces us for an afternoon, with some great local songwriters.  FREE EVENT.

“Write On” Writers GroupFor people who enjoy writing to share ideas and inspiration, there are some topics and exercises, as well as lots of time to chat and write. Suggested £3.

For anyone who likes to make things and be creative.  A chance to do a ‘taster’ session in a different craft each session, plus a craft materials and equipment swap, time to work on your own projects and have a chat!  £5 per session (£4 if you book on the night for the next one) which includes materials and a cuppa.

A thrilling, family-friendly evening of magic, burlesque, comedy and music.   Suggested £5
SUNDAY 16 October, 12.30 – 5pm
An untutored session for those who want to draw in peace! £13.50 per person. Booking essential.

The Art House is a not-for-profit café, gallery and arts venue in the centre of Southampton. We are a place you can meet new people, meet up with friends or just come in by yourself. Our licensed café offers delicious organic lunches, Fairtrade tea and homemade cake. We also have a busy programme of events, workshops, and art exhibitions, a clothing and crafts boutique and lots more. Most of our crew are volunteers and you might even want to apply to join them.
