Why The Art House? Good question!

I popped in on Sunday just as we were opening to make this short film about The Art House and about my personal reasons for being involved in founding and running this lovely place.

The video is a submission for me to get a scholarship to Marie Forleo’s B-School, an online business course for creative businesspeople.

Although we are not-for-profit, The Art House still runs on a business model (with our aims being the ‘bottom line’ and the money being what pays for us to support that!).

We started this place more than six years ago, none of us had much business experience and not a one had run anything this size before.  It’s been a steep learning curve, and most business support out there just doesn’t ‘gel’ with how we like to do things.

Marie works specifically with entrepreneurs who are doing what they love to improve the world – which is why Jani would really like to study with her!

Please watch the video now and learn more about The Art House and why we are here – and help Jani get into B-School 🙂
