Community meal and cooking session – Weds 20 April

We’re excited to hold another communally cooked meal at The Art House. Using food from our pantry, diverted from waste, we’ll cook and eat together and make enough to stock the community fridge and take home some too, if you need it! This event is for everyone and done in the spirit of mutual aid and sharing resources, rather than charity. Come along, enjoy good company and a tasty meal and support our pantry at the same time.

We’ll be cooking from 6pm and aim to eat around 7.30-8pm and finish around 9.30pm

Join in for the cooking or eating bit, or both. Please feel free to bring ingredients to add to the pot or stock up the pantry: anything vegan, in date and unopened.

The kitchen is on the first floor up a flight of stairs, but some prep can be done on our ground floor, which has level access.

The meal will be shared downstairs. You do not have to stay for the meal if you’d prefer not to, but all are welcome.

Schedule:

6pm Chopping and prep
7pm Tubbing up meals for the chiller
7.30/8pm sharing a meal
9pm washing up, stocking the chiller
9.30-10pm finish and pack down
