Sapphic Cafe returns to The Art House on Wednesday 11 May from 7 – 9pm
It’s been a long winter, but the weather is changing and it’s time to get together for a chat and a nice cuppa.
Sapphic Cafe is a social group specifically for people who identify as sapphic – providing a dry (non alcoholic) space modelled loosely on lesbian cafe culture where people are safe to express themselves and share their love of all things sapphic*
The Art House will be serving cakes, snacks, coffees, teas and soft drinks – alcohol is available but this is not an alcohol focussed event.
The guest list for this event is private.

About the Sapphic Cafe
*The word ‘Sapphic’ comes from the Greek poet, Sappho, who wrote intensely beautiful and erotic poetry, much of it addressed to other women.
The word was chosen for this cafe style event to encompass any women or nonbinary folk who love other women or nonbinary folk and is trans, bi, pansexual, asexual, aromantic and nonbinary inclusive.
You do not have to bring anything but yourself to this event.
You can just drop in on the night, but it helps us to plan for numbers if you register here – registering is free. We invite everyone attending to make a donation towards the use of the space.
