Here’s the basic info for our Zoom events during quarantine:
Events during lockdown will happen on Zoom so we can all show love by staying apart.
You can join a Zoom meeting by clicking on the link that was sent to you in your order confirmation email when you booked.
If you do not already have Zoom on your computer or phone, you may wish to download it:
Alternatively, you can opt to view Zoom in your browser without downloading anything.
Once you have done this, you can join the party and wait for others to arrive. Be sure to switch on audio when you join.
Get comfy, grab a drink, and join!
Dress code: quarantine chic (PJs) or dress up if you wish!
You can choose to switch your camera off if you prefer, but for performance events it is so much better if the performer can see you and enjoy your reactions, so please consider doing this if you can.
Your mic will be muted automatically and we ask that you unmute to heckle/applaud and then re-mute so that background noise from your home does not interfere with the performance.
You can also applaud in sign language by doing ‘jazz hands’ with your mic off.
For drop in/socials: You can stay as long as you like so drop in when you are ready and drop out when you’ve had enough.
For performances or talks:
The event starts at the time listed and we ask that you join in plenty of time so that you don’t miss the beginning.
Your mic will be automatically switched off when you join so you will need to turn it on, if watching a performance this option might not be available whilst the performer is speaking.
Don’t worry about using this platform if it is new to you, we will help! These are extraordinary days so the main thing is we will all be together.
If you have any issues with the tech side, we will be online and ready to help – the quickest way to contact us is a quick message to our Facebook page.
