Seed Saving Circle

A seed circle is a group of friends or allotment/gardening buddies who all sign up to save seeds from one or two kinds of plant.

At the end of the growing season, each person saves what they need and arranges to share or exchange their surplus seeds with the rest of the circle.

Open to all – don’t worry if you don’t know anything about seed saving, there will be information sheets on what crop everyone wants to save, (ie how to save and store seeds)

These regular meetings would be to check on people’s progress, chat about how things are going, maybe arrange trips out to gardens or to attend seed saving courses, and to discuss (later in the year) organising next year’s seed swap plus if anyone wants to get involved in helping out with that.

So in a nutshell (see what we did there!) – its a seedy meetup to discuss all things seed related, garden stuff, help out the garden-curious, exchange information and experience.
