Also known as ‘Tony’s Comedy Hour’, the sign language cafe is led by one of our volunteers who communicates using British Sign Language (BSL).
It all started with Tony teaching his fellow volunteers some signs so that we could communicate with each other.
Learning to sign was so much fun that we asked Tony if he’d be happy to run a regular session to encourage people to learn and communicate in BSL.
Come along, even if you don’t know any sign language at all – you will soon learn!
This event runs every Wednesday from 6 – 7pm (except in August and close to Christmas, and sometimes if Tony is away – please check our calendar below for specific dates)
