Poetry Stanza groups are an opportunity for poets to get together for critical and constructive comment on poetry.
If possible, please bring about 8 printed copies of poems and a pair of ears to this friendly group. New members are very welcome, whether you’re a fully fledged poet or just hatching.
Entry by ‘Magic Hat’ – suggested £3, please pay at the till when you arrive.
Lovely organic, fair trade coffee & tea, a wide selection of herbal teas, organic juices and soft drinks, organic wines, ciders and beers available in the cafe, with home-baked goodies and light snacks, all reasonably priced and very yummy.

Booking details:
There is no need to book, however we always recommend that you check with the organiser before setting out.
Cost:
We ask that you make an optional donation around £3 for this event, if you can. Please note that we rely on generous donations to cover our running costs and allow us to run groups like this!
Food & refreshments:
The licenced cafe will be open at the start of the session and during the break serving tea, coffee, cakes and other snacks. Please do not bring your own food or drink to The Art House.
Accessibility:
This event us usually held in our downstairs cafe which is wheelchair accessible, however it may sometimes move upstairs so please check beforehand. We can often relocate downstairs if you need level access.
