Happy New Year

Just returned from New Year’s Eve in Edinburgh. Managed to get an Access All Areas pass with my friends there so got into the gardens to see Groove Armada play on the main stage below the Castle. We were on a path not open to the punters so had the best view in the city and no drunken revellers bashing into us…we had room to dance and the fireworks were there right in front of us! Amazing….I was so lucky! It’s not what you know but who you know….
Went to a great place I found in the summer called Waste Innovations. I left some of my work there and most of it had sold…so they want more! They want me to be involved with the business too as they plan to run Eco Parties around the UK….little recycled craft projects that friends can do in an evening…so I thought the Art House would be a good place to do them some time. If anyone is making anything innovative from waste material, let me know….
Here’s to 2009 …as the lady in Groove Armada said, 2008 was “a piece of shit”! Things surely can’t get worse?
