Evening all! Just to let you know that in addition to being open as per usual tommorrow, a small contingent of Art House volunteers + 3 of the Directors are catering/artering at the South Downs Green Fair which promises to be a lovely event in spite of the pouring rain.
On the menu:
Grilled organic portobello mushroom ‘burgers’ in a locally made bun with organic salad
2 other salad options include a bulgur wheat, za’atar (a seasoning popular in Palestine and environs) ground cumin and coriander, roast carrots, sweet potatoes and sweetcorn
The other is a fusilli pasta (made of rice!) with creamed basil, watercress, sundried toms and chopped green olives.
For desserts we have a selection of muffins (choc, carrot, raisin, coconut, apple and banana/coconut)
Also some random organic chocolate (including orange & geranium and lavender varieties)
Also also a selection of soft drinks including my fave dandelion and burdock
Plus of course a range of teas and coffees to whet the whistle. Sound Nom – cos it is!!
If you are not able to go to the fair, we’d be delighted to see you at the Cafe for our ‘normal’ chilled Sunday vibe!
