Events: Life Drawing Sessions

Our bi-monthly life drawing sessions offer an opportunity for artists of all levels to spend a pleasant Sunday afternoon drawing.

IMG_1495Held in our gallery area, with a small group, this is a great way to keep your drawing skills up, and the longer pose means you can even complete a finished piece.

The life drawing sessions are untutored, so you can work in the way which suits you best.

Lunch:

Why not enjoy lunch before the session?  We suggest if you wish to do this, coming in around 1pm to give yourself plenty of time.

Other information:-

This session is held in our upstairs gallery area, screened off by a curtain.   The session offers you a chance to draw a long pose in your own way without any structure, in an informal non-classroomy setting.

Accessibility information:-

This session is suitable for adults over 18, however young people aged 16 – 18 may come along if they are attending with an adult.

The life drawing is held on our first floor, which is accessed via wide stairs with a banister either side.  Regretably we are not able to hold this session on our ground floor as the cafe is open.

Travel information:-

We are a city centre venue and parking can be in short supply.  If you are driving, please make sure you leave plenty of time to find a space click here for a map of where the nearest parking spaces can be found.

We are about 10 minutes walk from Southampton City Centre train station and on the route for most city centre buses.
