First pop-up pantry at Board in the City

Our first pop up pantry at Board in the City CIC was lovely, we had SO much food from The Big Difference and Co-op! Thank you Board in the City team for making us feel really at home. Nic and Jez made some soup (carrot, potato and red lentil) and we had lots of lovely M&S crusty rolls to serve with it. So many tasty muffins, pastries and hot cross buns too.. treats for everyone.

Thanks to our regular supporters on BuyMeACoffee and on Patreon, the food collections this week were funded and we have enough paid forward hot drinks and soups to offer folks.

Everyone tucked in, including some locals that one of our pantry regulars pretty much dragged in (consensually of course) off the street.

Nic is in love with BitC’s kitchen, which is so well organised

Next up Saturday Social – The Art House pop-up at October Books tomorrow, Saturday 6/4 3-5pm.

Folks, come and help us stop this food going to waste please! We got way more than usual so it’s all got to go.
