A Unique Interactive Music/Art Exhibition to be held at The Courthouse arts space in Eastleigh on the 14/12/2014.
The Courthouse in Eastleigh was the former magistrates court, now its been converted into a community arts space that will play host to a one-off creative event on December the 14th. Local artists and musicians from the Academy of Music and Sound (AMS) in Southampton have come together for an event that is sure to get imaginations firing!
As well as exhibitions from prominent artists and musical performances from the varied talents at the AMS, visitors will be encouraged to get involved themselves by creating art inspired by music, or taking part in the interactive displays. The aim of the event is to explore how creativity can cross art-forms, we will also be raising money for Eastleigh’s Young Carers. Everyone is welcome to join in.
The Courthouse is a multi purpose arts venue, which hosts the South Coast Music Project (SOCO) that works to enable access for all people to music. Many artists and representatives from SOCO will be on hand to discuss their work.
The Creative Slam will run from 1:00-4:00pm, so arrive early to be involved with all the activities! The event is free to attend.
