We are delighted to announce that Brighton based Ink Project collaborating with Bristol based Coreysan and Portsmouth’s Frankie Knight will be playing at The Art House on Saturday 10 June. Half priced first release tickets are on sale for a limited time – so book early!
Coreysan (the Trinidad-born, Bristol-based ‘Trini David Bowie’) on vocals, Frankie Knight on vocals and Jez Lloyd on production/keys, and features A/V projection to accompany the show.
Coreysan describes his music as ‘Electronic Caribbean Hybrid Music’. Earthy bass and soulful beats with raspy, soothing vocals and a storyteller approach to his lyrical compositions, reminiscent of Calypso, all combine to give his music a rootsy, thought-provoking, bass-driven and mysterious flavour.

He is also the bassist and backing vocalist for the LGBTQ-championing, sexism- and racism-bashing queen of calypso, Calypso Rose.
Portsmouth’s Frankie Knight will lead you into a dream world filled with haunting melodies, bass-heavy beats, and synths hooks that will be swimming around your head for days.
Inspired by Massive Attack, Unkle, Bjork, Bonobo and her time abroad she mixed her pop sensibilities with a love for bass music to create her own brand of tropical trip-hop with references to soul, dub, folk and jazz.
