Moving Voices Open Mic August ’23 with special guest Carlton Clements – Friday 25.08.2023 7pm
Moving Voices, Southampton’s longest running open mic event for poetry, song, storytelling, and spoken word, is back with some longer slots for open mic performers. This month’s event will feature special guest Carlton Clements, a singer, songwriter, and poet. Carlton, who grew up in Gloucester, now leads the punk band Weird Unkles and also performs his own heartfelt songs. The event promises to inspire and uplift with a mix of regular performers and newcomers. Performers can sign up between 7 and 7:30pm. The event will be hosted by RKP.
